BancCentral Business Continuity Center Facilities Description
BancCentral now operates a Business Continuity Center (BCC) at a secure location Southeast of Alva, Oklahoma. The BCC is a former AT&T Long Lines Facility and is a 3000+ sq. ft. facility built to military standards. Walls ceilings and floors are comprised of 18” steel reinforced concrete. Access Control Systems, and Fire, Smoke, and Burglar Alarms the facility. All doors are secure, all steel, and reinforced. There are no windows. The grounds are secured by a steel and barbed-wire topped security fence with an automatic, card-controlled, car gate, and monitored via video surveillance. The internal facility is also monitored via video surveillance.

The BCC has line power from Alfalfa Electric Cooperative and a propane powered generator equipped with an automatic transfer switch for power redundancy. There are over 1,000 gallons of propane available at all times affording the facility a weeks backup if needed. The tank can also be refilled upon request within 24 hours by Long Gas Company based in Alva, Oklahoma.

Water is provided to the BCC via a well. The well is backed up via the generator.

BancCentral Business Continuity Center Communications Environment
The BCC is serviced with both fiber optics and copper cable from AT&T, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Pioneer Telephone, Kingfisher, Oklahoma for redundancy. BancCentral also owns private fiber from the BCBCC to the Alva Data Center. There is also a free-standing 253’ tornado proof tower at the facility to enable wireless operation to various locations as needed.

Voice phone services are available within the BCBCC and VoIP systems from any BancCentral customer are permitted to redundantly fail-over to this facility in the event of a disaster.  BancCentral utilizes AT&T’s Disaster Routing Service to port voice lines from various customer locations to the BCBCC in the event of a disaster.

BancCentral Business Continuity Center Server Redundancy Environment
All systems at the BancCentral Data Center in Alva, Oklahoma are backed up live, and continuously to the BCBCC via private fiber. BancCentral utilizes EMC Corporations Replistore line of products to mirror its’ operations between both facilities.
